About the Speaker: Dr. Mazziotta is the Program Director of the Tallahassee Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program. He also serves as Clerkship Faculty for the FSU College of Medicine. Prior to joining the residency he served in the USAF as a physician with the 56th Medical Group. He has been involved with the care of HIV infected patients since 1990. He is one of the faculty providers at the new Care Point HIV Clinic and the Tallahassee Memorial Wound Healing Center.

Program Information: Joseph Mazziotta, MD presents Florida State Licensure requirements on HIV/AIDS. During this one-hour webinar, the following learning objectives will be addressed: Specify the epidemiology and immunopathogenesis of HIV/AIDS; Clarify modes of transmission; Employ appropriate infection control procedure; Discuss recent advancements in the clinical management of HIV/AIDS; Explain methods of prevention; and Observe current Florida law in terms of its impact on testing, confidentiality of test results, and treatment of patients.
