2026 FAFP Resident Directors Elections

NOW OPEN

 

The Florida Academy of Family Physicians (FAFP) is seeking nominations for its annual elections for Resident Director positions:

  • Resident President

  • Vice President

  • Secretary/Treasurer.

 

These leadership roles offer meaningful opportunities to support your fellow residents, contribute to resident and student programming, and serve as a voting member of the FAFP Board of Directors.

Eligibility:

 

  • Nominees must be current Resident Members of AAFP/FAFP

  • Nominees must be current residents at an approved Florida family medicine residency program.

  • 3rd-year residents are eligible to run for any position.

  • 1st and 2nd-year residents may run for Vice President or Secretary/Treasurer with written approval from their program director.

 

The deadline to receive nominations is Friday, February 13, 2026.
