Florida Prescribed Credits
If 2012 marks the end of your re-election cycle, FAFP would like to remind you about your CME requirements. To maintain AAFP/FAFP membership, you will need to report 150 CME credit hours including 75 Prescribed, 25 from Live activities and 12 FL Prescribed Credit hours earned during your re-election cycle. Florida Board of Medicine License Renewal
If you renewed your license close to the renewal deadline of January 31, 2012, the Department of Health's website may not have immediately updated your record to reflect that you had renewed your license. The Board of Medicine Office was immediately made aware of this issue and worked quickly to resolve the matter. Read more. |
Maintenance of Certification for Family Physicians (MC-FP) The ABFM continues to enhance its MC-FP program. According to the ABFM, as of Jan. 1, family physicians seeking to earn or maintain board certification must adhere to new MC-FP entry and re-entry requirements. Read more.
