The Virtual Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) is an online resource designed to provide you with information that is relevant at each point in your medical education. Virtual FMIG empowers you to explore the discipline of family medicine and topics such as career choice, role models, leadership development, the Match, residency, clinical resources, technology, and much more. Find out what resources such as meetings, leadership opportunities, and publications are offered to you as a student by the AAFP.

The AAFP Cyberguide is your direct source for information about family practice, residencies, full text articles of American Family Physician and Family Practice Managment, the Match, patient oriented evidence that matters and news.

The AAFP research Web page http://www.aafp.org/x3343.xml just added new links under categories covering funding, training, awards and recognition and linkages to other family medicine organizations and research resources, including the AAFP National Research Network. In many of these areas, links to governmental resources for both the United States and Canada have also been added. The new information is intended to help beginning, midlevel and advanced researchers, as well as residents and medical students. Visit the site and expand your resources for funding and conducting research.
