FAFP Leadership Presents Medical Home Pilot Presentation to the Senate Health Regulation Committee

Today is a proud day for the FAFP and family medicine. The Academy, with the leadership of Coy Irvin, MD, FAFP Board of Directors, presented the concept of Medicaid Medical Home pilots to the Senate Health Regulation Committee.

 

The presentation is attached for your perusal. The concept was well received and we are hopeful that further discussion and planning will lead to legislative authorization to conduct Medicaid pilot medical homes in the northwest Florida area and possibly other areas of the state.

 

We are especially proud of the coalition of health care provider groups that supported this effort.
